Business plan for the development of one of our products, Perfecta3D, biomatrix won several competitive and prestigious awards.
2006 Dare to Dream competition from the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan, http://www.zli.bus.umich.edu/events_programs/dream_history.asp. Using the Dare to Dream Assessment Grant, we are working with UM business leaders in developing the market strategy for the new products based on hydrogel ICC scaffolds and marketing the 3D scaffolds to pharmaceutical industry.

2006 Business Idea Competition hosted by the Johnson Business School at Cornell University (third place, 50+ applicants), http://www.johnson.cornell.edu/brv/bicinfo.html. The competition was hosted by BR Ventures. The panel of judges consisted of angel venture capitalists, representatives from Cornell affiliated intellectual property law firms, and entrepreneurs.

2006 Material Research Society Entrepreneurship Challenge (first place, 25+ applicants from the best national and international universities). The competition was judged by several well-known venture capitalist firms such as Adams Capital Management, Arch Ventures, and Dow Ventures.
